About Us 

Accessible Sweden is a dedicated UK tour operator and travel agency, whom specialise in creating unique independent Swedish holidays available for everyone, regardless of reduced physical abilities. 

The company was founded by Jo Sheasby, An experienced tourism industry professional who has worked with a diverse selection of clients, ranging from the very young to the ‘young at heart’. 

The inspiration for Accessible Sweden emerged after witnessing the increasing exclusion of many people from holiday experiences due to inflexibility and poor access information.  This realisation coupled with a passion for Sweden and it’s charms, inspired Jo to take the initiative and create a specialist company, whose focus is centred around offering the best that Sweden has to offer in the most accessible form possible.

‘In this day and age, nobody should be excluded from spending valuable holiday time with their friends and family for reasons of physical limitations alone.  With a little forward planning, creative thinking and a positive attitude, many exciting opportunities can be made available to the thousands of people who have to consider access requirements on a daily basis – if it can be done, we’ll make it happen’.
